In an unusual punctuality on the roadmap QVS-GTK has been released few minutes ago. On
http://code.google.com/p/qvs/ you can already see the links that lead to the new version. On
https: / / launchpad.net / ~ urturino / + archive / qvs-ppa deb are already available for Karmic and Lucid (hardy will not be supported *)
The New
New version 2.1 are many, let's take a look at the changelog:
- Display the extraction of the last 2 monthsAs you can see they are now viewable in the extraction, the laggards, and numbers more frequent, as it was possible to do on QVS 1.5
- Display of late numbers
- Display of numbers most often
- Ability to configure some aspects of the program
- Heavy changes to the
graphics - Ability to be alerted about the availability of new versions
addition, the program warns the availability of new versions, (of course if you installed the program using PPA expect this to be updated rather than installing it manually).
It was finally created a configuration file that is automatically created in your Home and configures certain behaviors of the program.
On the issue of Windows, it was not possible to create the executable, the program is still used by the source after installing Python, Gtk + and PyGTK.
Nothing more to add, use it and tell me what you think, version 2.2 is coming.
* Version 2.1 is incompatible with Python 2.5 and then Hardy is excluded
