Classes in QVS-GTK 2.2

Needless to hide it I'm secretly working on

QVS-GTK for a couple of days, without announcing the commencement of work without upgrading the bzr branches on.

The reason is easy to say, having never used classes before I did not know if I would be able to create a version of GTK-QVS mainly composed of classes, so given that the failure rates were (and are all ' now) I preferred to high all in secret. If they did

space missions with the Russians can do it well I
My development version of "classified" (meaning both "consists of classes" and as "top secret") is still not working, but should not be major bottlenecks in its implementation, within a few days might be finished and running.
At that point, will update the branch on Launchpad and the development of QVS-GTK 2.2 will begin in earnest.

How will QVS QVS-GTK-GTK 2.1.1 2.2

is too soon to start working on QVS-GTK, but the ideas had already been clear enough about its new I would like to illustrate them.

QVS-GTK 2.2 will be a new level of code both in terms of features.

level code will pass the graphics from libglade to GtkBuilder, but I also intend to distribute the code across multiple files (all too confusing at present), and for that I will use the classes (an instrument used so little / loved since hour)

Moving to new features QVS-GTK, the 2.2 should have:
  • The ability to view drawings of each 10eLotto 5 '
  • The ability to print the drawings (or better to view the pdf, then the we do have your affairs, but I do it to let you print)
  • win control, enter the numbers and tells you if they are played out (as on QVS 1.5.x)
This is it, I have other ideas, but I'm not sure of being able to put them all in version 2.2, also see if you can better manage the business of downloading Sweepstakes & C. (Accomplice in the rewrite of the code classes) so I think I have enough irons in the fire to get out crazy all summer.

A few minutes is available Version 2.1.1 of GTK-QVS

This version fixes the bug that did not display correctly 10eLotto extractions, this is also a single version, running on GNU / Linux and Windows.

The merit of this second part goes to Alessandro Sergi, the mastermind behind his brother "illegitimate" of QVS-GTK, QT-QVS (if you enjoy Qt are following the wrong QVS, have a look)

Deb, RPM, Source and Executable for Windows is already available, as well as updates on the Launchpad PPA, 4 files, 4 ways to use the same program.

Good use for everyone.

ps forgot to say that thanks to rapid change, QVS-GTK 2.1.1 is again compatible with Python 2.5, and could soon get the deb for Hardy PPA on

Bug-GTK 2.1.0

There is a bug, I apologize for not have noted before, the extraction of 10eLotto appear evil, do not display all 20 numbers, and some appear repeatedly.

not I was able to find the error in the code, just a short more information.

Today I finally managed to successfully create the executable for Windows QVS-GTK 2.1.0.

download page of the project is in fact available QVS-GTK_2.1.0_WE file containing the source and executable for Windows.

The presence of the source is necessary since the Windows version is different from that for GNU / Linux, in fact these changes were not justified (at least in my view) the effort to include them in the original code (especially in view of total rewrite that will happen in 2.2), so unlike the version 2.0, in 2.1 we have 2 versions, and then two sources.

Nothing more to add, the features are the same, the only changes were to make it compatible and usable on Windows, the final decision to you.
